This latest information (via Ryokutya2089) has been discovered in a Japanese advertisement, which suggests the game's launch period has shifted from this year to 2024.

The latest official announcement was "2023" without any fixed date.

I've played the first one and I actually enjoyed it a lot! Looking forward for the next entry in the series!

its a shame but if they need more time then i rather they take it. loved the one on 3DS and very excited to play this when its ready :)
