As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:

The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.

[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.
Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.
These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:
- Follow the rules of Sopuli
- Posts must be related to the Steam Deck in an obvious way.
- No piracy, there are other communities for that.
- Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
- This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.
- Have fun.

I thought the mods said they wouldn't do it. Well I'm glad they are!
As inconvenient as it is, there are always resources in other places -, whether for the steam deck or any other niche. Hopefully they will join the indefinite blackout. I dropped by the main Reddit site to see how things were going after 48 hours and a good number of subs I see on the FP are coming in as indefinite/until the policy changes.

My question is how amenable will reddit mods be to creating posts between the blackout and API change effect that explicitly promote lemmy, kbin, or whatever alternatives to their communities. I imagine it will totally depend on the mods.
The best non-aggressive way is to post quality content here, then post a link to the lemmy page in a subreddit. Content is king they say, and where it's hosted owns the content.
Or to put it another way: post the content here and post links to here on other social media. Stop treating Reddit as a first-class citizen, it's just another channel where posting links will pull people here. Eventually folk will switch to the discussions here instead of commenting there. Play the long game.
That's a really good point. It's what got me to stop using StumbleUpon and stick around on reddit in the first place some 15 years ago.
There was a post with an archive for the convergence mod on steamdeck, I really want to get it :) I will be very grateful
