I noticed the same thing today as well.
This only happens with memmy. On lemmy.world my posts have only 1 upvote.

I’m seeing the same thing. The extra vote isn’t showing up on the server. There is a flag for whether the current user upvoted or downvoted something- I wonder if the app is adding one of this is set to upvote?
Edit: yep, if you downvote your own item it goes directly to -2.
