Well, at this point I think it was kinda expected that it would not get stellar reviews, but holy shit.

Sitting at “mostly negative” because, as pretty much all of the reviews indicate, it’s an unoptimized piece of shit and runs terribly even if you have a stupidly powerful gaming machine.

I have heard this. Luckily it's on game pass so have all the tune in the world to decide to buy it after some dlc pops up

If Paradox isn't gonna do more work on the original Cities: Skylines, maybe they'll have a major sale at some point, and the game and its DLC will be available for something less than about $400, so could be a win for people who like the series if they don't like the performance tradeoffs made in the sequel.

On that note, if anyone has the game, would you be kind and tell us the performance you are getting, and what system you have?

Wasn't usable emulated in Parallels on my Macbook, as in it was a slideshow at the lowest graphics settings. I'll try GeForce Now in the morning

25-40 fps on my 6700xt running high with DoF & motion blur off. There's no hitching or stuttering like I had in cs1. This kind of game has so little motion, so despite the low numbers it feels perfectly smooth, and I'm used to 144hz.

30-45fps on medium settings with a 1660 ti 3GB.
