I like the detail that that’s less than the ground beef is going for in the case.
The Far Side
Hello fellow Far Side fans!
About this community and how I post the comic strip… Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips and one of those was The Far Side. These days of course you find just about anything online including www.thefarside.com where they post several comics a day and I repost them here. Just to note, the date you see in my posts is not the initial release date, but the date they were posted on the website.
The Far Side is a single-panel comic created by Gary Larson and syndicated by Chronicle Features and then Universal Press Syndicate, which ran from December 31, 1979, to January 1, 1995 (when Larson retired as a cartoonist). Its surrealistic humor is often based on uncomfortable social situations, improbable events, an anthropomorphic view of the world, logical fallacies, impending bizarre disasters, (often twisted) references to proverbs, or the search for meaning in life… Read more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Far_Side

1.99/lb for preprocessed human is a lot more expensive than 2.99 ground meat.
Well you've got to compensate for all the organs and bone in the human which would just go to waste. Pound for pound for just the meat you'd probably be paying more than $2.99 per pound. Plus he looks a little bulky and I guarantee you there's no marbling.
This is one of the more unsettling ones. I've always wondered who or what the guy in the coat is.
I think it's a crocodile with how lumpy the flesh poking out top is
Shia Lebeouf.
A cannibal. He's a cannibal.
A chicken. Definitely a chicken.
I don’t get it. Halp
Dude in coat wants to by some of that delicate assistant meat from the butcher. Butcher is considering it, but trying to keep the assistant (back turned) from hearing the discussion.
Commentary on animal consumption, as a lot of Larson's comics were. I've never looked to see if he was/is a veggie person.
Also the assistant would be cheaper than ground meat at 2.99$ per pound. Not sure what that says but it’s dark.
