CNN has exclusively obtained the audio recording of the 2021 meeting in Bedminster, New Jersey, where President Donald Trump discusses holding secret documents he did not declassify.

That's the good shit.
When reading the post I thought it's one of those "We got the tapes/videos/mails, but won't upload them, but we got them and they are important, believe us" things.

member when Rachel Maddow got his tax returns?

It’s so completely clear from the audio that he knows he’s sharing classified information and that he no longer has the power to declassify it - there’s no doubt whatever - but there will still be a giant number of people will say he’s innocent.

They are indifferent to his guilt. They don't have to deny it.

I mean, isn't the story now just that it's "boring" and "who cares?"

Remember that every time you read a comment online saying Biden and Trump are the same, you’re looking at a pro-Trump psyop.

I found a pro trump mastodon instance the other day and I have it bookmarked so I can check in every now and then. That shit is absolutely wild.

Damn, thanks CNN for helping the feds with there job of winning the charges.

This is a tape already known to be part of the prosecution's evidence as far as I know.

Jack Smith's ace in the hole. Note that he didn't file charges about this specific dissemination - that way if Judge Loose Cannon causes too many problems, he can file these charges in New Jersey, out of her reach.

[–] outrageousmatter 2 points 1 year ago

Ah, yeah sounds like a pretty simple violation of something in his charges.

Trump to go to jail. Trump win in 2024 all but confirmed.

There is no rule that says a person in prison can't run for office. Eugene V. Debs was in a West Virginia penitentiary when he lost the 1920 presidential election after all.

[–] Cruxifux 7 points 1 year ago

Eugene Debs was too awesome to ever win an American election though.

I'm sure the guy getting the cokes has a security clearance, not a US one, but a security clearance is a security clearance, right?

[–] meldroc 3 points 1 year ago

He cleared that staffer with his mind!

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

He'll claim it's deep faked

[–] khepri 2 points 1 year ago

He already claimed it exonerates him, can't have it both ways.

Doesn't get much more direct than this...
