As the title says, the latest version of Facebook doesn't allow you to open links in your default browser of choice.

I am pretty sure a couple of weeks ago I was able to do that, but in the last couple of days it started opening all links in the in app browser.

If you go "Setting & Privacy > Media > Open Links in an external browser" and enable it, Facebook will still use the in app browser for opening links.

Anyway to get around this?

i heard that's not a bug, but it's by design, they use an internal browser as if they do this they can add their own trackers and don't worry about adblockers

Of course it's by design. Facebook is a horrible company, run by an abhorrent person.

This one simple trick. I hate it. The LinkedIn app does this too.
