As soon as I made the decision to throw away all my socks and go to the shop and buy 14 pairs of the same grey socks, my life became infinitely less stressful.

Same except I prefer black socks, I started doing this 6 or 7 years ago and I never have to waste time pairing socks again. I get about 2 years wear out of them before they start getting holes in so I just throw them away and buy another 14 pairs

I should have mentioned that this set belongs my daughter. At some point a set or two was bought with one pair of each design.

I have two types of socks and the only reason I have two is because they changed the design.

All of my work socks are like this.

I make my partner crazy by randomly rejecting pairs when I hang them out, as if I'm looking for something specific that she can't see. 😈

All the same at birth, yet, over the years, they developed their own personalities

My socks basically just accept that once they come into my care they will likely never see their mate again.

I've got the same issue but with all black socks

I'm the same, got a drawer full of single socks. Where the hell do they go?

That's why I bought socks in bulk. Hundreds of pairs and all identical. Plus no need to buy new socks for years and years.

I just did this. 100 pairs on Amazon for $50. It was like 2 months ago and so far I've only opened 20 pair
