I instantly read this in Pam and Cheryl's voices. And now I'm trying to map the entire Archer cast to their Baldur's Gate counterparts.

Karlach is Lana, she obviously has huge hands.

Wyll is Cyril: tries to be the good guy, but he's just too boring and people take advantage of him.

So does that leave Gale as Krieger, Astarion as Ray, and Withers as Woodhouse?

Lae'zel is cool, and Shadowheart was always so rude to her (and by extension, me). I spoke to her so little that I didn't even realize she needed to be around for the nightsong quest. I completed it without her, and she got angry then left. I didn't even apologize.

No regrets.

After getting to the creche, I now understand Shadowheart's discontent.

She has no memories and got abducted as a child. Of course she has issues.

Prejudices are bad but they are there for a reason. Not always, I know, but being weary of giths is a safe bet.

I'm the opposite. I didn't find Lae'zel until I went back from act 2 to fetch her. Then she was so angry all the time that I just left her in camp. Shadowheart is my pal, and has been with me the entire journey, Lae'zel is just some orc looking chick who I fought alongside one time on a ship, during the worst day of my character's life.

In my playthroughs and headcanon, they went from enemies with an overlapping goal to frienemies to trauma/war buddies.

"Well, Lae'zel? Have we buried the hatchet?"

"I do not understand this 'idiom', but if you need help burying something, I will find a shovel."

"Did you not hear me previously? Through fucking. I will fucking kill you."

Why is Shart drinking with her nose?

[–] TheAmishMan 18 points 1 year ago

She's not, cause she's talking. Think about putting a bottle to your mouth, especially one that isn't completely full. Someone says something to you, you want to respond, but you don't need to put the drink down because you're going right back to sipping on it. You would tilt the neck/mouthpiece away from your mouth slightly. From a straight on look, this scenario would look just like the drawing
