Oh no...Anyway. Like a broke record at this point.
Україна Ukraine
Все про Україну Everything about Ukraine
We should send Ukraine a couple dozen ATACMS every time Russia has a genocidal outburst
Does Ukraine even have the physical space for that many ATACMS?
Russian propaganda gonna propaganda ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also why I don't read Newsweek; nothing but opinion pieces and hyping fear or divisive topics.
As a Finn, Russia has been threatening us with a nuclear strike (more or less directly and in various phrasings) for well over a decade should we decide to join Nato. Among other countless threats about various things over several decades. Not holding my breath waiting for them to deliver
Start treating the threats like a drinking game: Every time they mention a "nuclear response" we send ATACAMS, upgraded JDAMS, a Patriot system, an F16 or an Abrams to Ukraine.
I was going to say something like "five of xxx" but NATO would be out of stuff to send within a month.
Regarding the U.S., military pundit Igor Korotchenko told the Russia 1 channel: "we will not wage war with you in Europe."

The first to be hit will be London.
I think that Korotchenko and Gurulyov are gonna have to reconcile their strategies.
Has Russia ever waged war which did not aim to add to their contiguous landmass?
Because when you take in conjunction that they're telling Europe not to worry, when only a week ago they were kind of threatening Poland, it seems like they might be lying. Again.
This is total theater. A single CHAMP payload on a stealth cruise missile (which Poland and Finland already have) "is capable of up to 100 shots per sortie." That is up to 100 electronic launchers, RADAR/anti-aircraft/communications installations permanently disabled. It doesn't just reboot the hardware, it destroys the electronics contained therein. Fried. No casualties. Just throws them back to the era of gunpowder and stones. With a single missile.
"By 2023, Lockheed Martin could produce over 500 missiles total of JASSM and LRASM versions per year, with plans to increase production to 1,000 missiles annually."
Russia has no answer for this or similar capability. All they can do is beat their chest about nukes that probably don't work anymore anyway.
Pair it with Rapid Dragon for the delivery system...
Jesus. They wouldn't even have cell networks anymore. It would be 19th century Russia in a single afternoon.
Do you want Ukraine to have nukes? Because this is how you get Ukraine to have nukes.
they had them. the reason we're where we are now is they gave them up (back to russia)--in exchange for russia's "promise" to leave them alone.
Every time I hear these threats I just think "great, they're running out of options so they're threatening nukes" because it's one of the only levers they can pull.
