I like them all, except Doom 3, that just doesn't play like Doom. But as a classic Doom simp I'm contractually obliged to say Doom 2 is my favourite

I think Eternal. I hadn't played Doom in over 15 years before I played Eternal. The next gen jump was insane.

I do like Eternal a lot, I especially like how faithful they were to the original look and mood of Doom - it felt like a proper continuation of the classic games

Hard to say... probably Eternal or 2

I still have a soft spot for the original, but Doom64 is my jam. I played it on authentic hardware growing up, but we finally have some options on PC.

Whether that's SVKaiser's Absolution TC, Doom64EX, or Nightdive port. Or even Brutal Doom 64, and Doom 64 EX+ that picks up where Kaiser left off.

I'd recommend making a poll, my personal favorite is DOOM 2016.

I thought Sigil was really cool, Carmack really pushed the boundaries of the engine and created a classic Doom game that was still fresh and more difficult!

Wasn't Sigil done by Romero?

Carmack, Romero, same thing :p You're totally right, it was Romero and not Carmack.

It's 2 man! You were right!
