Just finished reading this, about Germans who lived through Nazi Germany reflecting on the sprung trap. The detailed breakdown about the internal strife of trying to find when and where to get a bunch of people to draw a line together was a challenge then and seems the same now despite communication improvements. It's instructive to think about IMO
