Here's the photo as taken by my phone.

Welcome to /c/birding, a community for people who like birds, birdwatching and birding in general! Feel free to post your birding photos or just photos of birds you found in general, but please follow the rules as outlined below.
-
This should go without saying, but please be nice to one another. No petty insults, no bigotry, no harassment, hate speech, nothing of that sort! Depending on the severity, you'll either only get your comment removed and a warning or your comment will be removed and you will be banned from /c/birding.
-
This is a community for posting content of birds, nothing else. Please keep the posts related to birding or birds in general.
-
When posting photos or videos that you did not take, please always credit the original photographer! Link to the original post on social media as well, if there is one.
-
Absolutely no AI-generated content is allowed! I know it has become quite difficult to tell whether or not something is AI-generated or not, but please make sure that whatever you post is not AI-generated. If it is, your post will be removed. If you continously post AI-generated content, you'll be banned from /c/birding (but it's obviously okay if you post AI-generated stuff once or twice without knowing you did so).

Please provide rough information location, if possible. This is a more loosely-enforced rule, especially because it is sometimes not possible to provide a location. But if you post a photo you took yourself, please provide a rough location and date of the sighting.
Good job. I have trouble just holding the phone steady. Couldn't imagine trying to hold both together.
I've got a clamp mount. It works pretty well as long as I don't bump the phone too hard and misalign the camera lens from the hole in the mount. I brace my elbows on my chest to steady my hands, but the live photos or whatever that feature is called where you can grab a single frame from a series of shots is a big helper!
I think I have some thinking to do. With all the crap I have, surely I have something I can rig together. Thanks!
I still haven't gotten myself a mount yet. Boo. But now that I saw your little rubber band hack, I want to go run off and try that in the meantime!
The rubber band trick should at least let you know if it's worth getting a mount or not for you. You can get an idea of how cumbersome it is and if the photo quality is what you're looking for, etc
This one looks the closest to what came with my binocs.
I think this one may be an upgrade as it looks a bit studier and quick to put on and take off.
Thanks for sharing. It definitely looks worth a try.
Re: the rubber band trick, it's way off-center and cumbersome. Boo. I also have like the heaviest phone on Earth which probably doesn't help. I'm going to look up to see if there's anything like that for the specific model binoculars I have.
Oh boo. At least you gave it a shot.
More than good. It's a great photo! Titmice... titmouse... Um... What's the plural? Anyway, they are the best. 😄
I think it's titmeeces. 😆
Of course! 😁

I miss you, Ventures! 🥲
quick inspired vector sketch:
I love it! You captured it perfectly! ❤️
Lovely job.
Thank you! Glad you like it.
I get some of these with a very similar feeder! Love it!
I love this feeder. It's a Droll Yankee Classic w/ Ring Pull. Just pull out the center rod and it falls into pieces for easy cleaning, and supposedly all parts are replaceable if something should happen to it. It's not the cheapest, but it's supposed to be a buy it for life item, and it's outlasted 2 cheapies from Home Depot and still looks almost new.
