It's a nice sentiment, but things haven't exactly worked out for the pro-democracy movement in HK.

Don't be mean. I promise to do my best to judge that fairly.
"Sir, the people are not standing for our shit anymore. They're holding a laser rave. The police state is crumbling as we speak."
would be radical, tho
I have this dream every night
is it just me or is this image way too pixelated to be legible?
Lemmy shows you thumbnails by default, you gotta open it up in your browser and edit the link to see the original image
Legible for me in Voyager for iOS.
Here's a higher-res version https://i.pinimg.com/736x/67/b6/6c/67b66cd39775ab1cea4b2f39562ea298.jpg
Thanks, updated.
Idk I'm on mobile and it opened okay. Maybe yours didn't load right
Edit: oh nvm I think the original post got updated to higher res
Phone? Some apps on iOS (and probably android) default to a scaled down version of the image when it's really large (or just tall in this case). On desktop it's legible but god damn has it been jpeged to hell.
Am I the only one thinking about the possible eye damage from all that random laser flying around? But maybe these pens don't have enough power to require eye protection.
No, they do. Never shine a laser in someone's eye, regardless the laser power or wavelength.
Edit: Light between 400-1400 nm can enter your lens and damage your fovea. Anything else will begin to cook your eye.
I was able to burn a piece of paper once by taking a laser pointer and using a magnifying glass to focus it onto a black part of the paper.
If you cover it in a glow in the dark material, preferably something that glows bright for a relatively short period of time, people could make drawings on it.
I’ve seen glasses or caps you can buy that use infrared. I believe some cameras can have a filter to block it though. But add LEDs too.
In my experience, the blue (405nm) lasers pointers can far, far exceed the nominal (5mW?) power.
In the US the police would shoot on the first laser fired.
