Patient Gamers

A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

Probably counts as patient gaming as the game has been in early access since 2019

This 1.0 crashes on me too much, and is a gamble on how far back the last working auto-save is.

Seems to be a common issue unfortunately

Foundation is a grid-less, laidback medieval city-building game with a focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.

Looks neat, but no connection with the Asimov stories there. (I got my hopes up)

The 1.0 release is much different and much improved compared to how it was in 2022 though. I’d say it counts anyway!

Have you played the 1.0 release? How is it?

I have. It’s good. I hadn’t played since EA in 2022 (hence my comment).

Lots more polish and finishing touches. I’m quite impressed especially because it felt pretty complete back then.

Played this from the day it came out in early access. Went off it because reasons. Had a quick look just now and oh my God... It's a completely different game and it looks awesome. Had to stop playing so I can block out some proper time to dive into into. Honestly it just looks so good... :)
