I would be happy to see these characters again, under a different writer/director team.
My thoughts exactly.
It would be great if they could bring Kim & Lippoldt back as showrunners/EPs and get someone else to direct it.
Really like Michelle Yeoh but found the character odd. Like everyone was mourning her when she left but she had been a dick to almost everyone.
Then again I generally detest alternate universe BS myself, always have to skip TNG, Voyager etc episodes that cover it.
If you make 3 shows with the TNG formula they will all do well, ngl.
And it probably would have been a better spin-off if it hadn’t been Alex Kurtzman that she had to ask.
Maybe her character would have been better if she hadn't shown interest in such a spinoff. If the character had been limited to Discovery's first season it would had been bearable because they had this whole mirror timeline thing going on. But afterwards I just couldn't understand why anyone would want to have her around - yet give her any responsibility...
