TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name
/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

Space rocks are the real danger. They pop into existence and really shake things up.
If only we knew why the structural engineers felt them necessary.
That and the consoles made out of explosives.
VS the Borg which operates as one big console:
Yup, full of Hollywood brand Atomic Gasoline. (I blatantly stole that joke, but I can't remember who from!)
Nah, they use plain normal gasoline. They just need to stop making their cars out of metallic sodium.
B-but sodium is a metal.
We do!
Lower Decks S5E8 “Upper Decks”
Billups: “My team replaced all the Cordry rocks in the ceiling panels on the bridge.”
Ransom: “Ugh, hate those things. They always fall out and hit me on the head when we take damage.”
Billups: “Well, their non-centrosymmetry disrupts the charge leptons in the isolinear pathways of the main deflector, which then causes-”
Huh, missed that bit. Well, any excuse to watch it again.
Ballast, obviously.
To keep the ship from capsizing.
Damn it, I was too late to post this. Well done.
I'm sure if Null were awake they'd have scrounged it up as well. All that tells me is that we're operating on the same subspace wavelength.

Somewhere early on I'd made a rusty Trek edit of the handshake meme still. Really gotta organize my shit.
Edit: re-uploaded gif since catbox appears to be down
oh man, now I need to reach really deep and make a Predator and Star Trek crossover somehow.
Just as well, found the old templates:
What/who is the red and yellow shirt?
It's based loosely on Admiral Freeman.
Ah, I see they call that a flag officer uniform!

So... many... red... shirts... :-P
They were warned about keeping those spa style lava rocks on the bridge.
They get wet and can explode after that. Not a good thing to keep near the EPS conduits, even if the security officer likes the exfoliating effects on his bare feet while working.
