The major feature for this release is native Wayland support. This might well be the last program I use that still required XWayland. Should mean that HiDPI with Wine is improved significantly as well, especially given there have been improvements added there as well.

Note that you need to unset the environment variable DISPLAY since it will still prefer the X11 backend if both are available. Something like this should work:

I did read the WINE X as a joke to MacOS X but it seems that Musk has claimed that letter with very high success.

Anyone try photoshop with it yet? Its the only software without decent linux alternative other than the online photopea (krita and gimp arent there yet)

krita isn't meant for photo manipulation and will never be, but gimp is a fair comparison

I heard PhotoGIMP is good.

It modifies GIMP 2.1+ to resemble Adobe Photoshop
