Me too! She's back to being an absolute menace lol
I'm glad you caught it early. I wasn't going to say it in the first thread, but my dog once swallowed something she shouldn't have, and the first symptom was faeces backing up to her mouth. It was too late by then.
I'm so sorry that happened. I was incredibly concerned when my dog's vomit started smelling foul. It was only bile, thank God. I get to give my carpets a thorough scrubbing while my pup is away recovering. My parents were kind enough to take her in for a while for her recovery so I can get the rest I need and get some much-needed chores done. She was sick off and on for almost a week before her symptoms got bad enough to warrant a vet visit and I barely slept in that time. I should have taken her to the vet sooner, but she wasn't acting truly sick until day 5. Until then she just puked every so often and I figured she ate something gross outside or wasn't eating enough because she was eating so much snow. When she turned her nose at chicken and rice, I panicked. That's her favorite meal.
I'm sorry
Glad you and the pup are ok.
Thank you. My parents are caring for her for me during her recovery and apparently she has her energy back and went right back to being an absolute menace.
I got insurance for my dog. He likes to eat things that aren’t food and I have to be extra vigilant. Mostly his toys.
Once, I caught him with my Adderall pill bottle. I cried so much. I thought I killed him.
It was in the middle of the shortage and I had just counted the amount in the bottle earlier that day. I found every single one in the dirt. I was so relieved. I still cried about it though. He’s my best friend and I need him around a bit longer.
My point is you aren’t the only one who has been through this. I learned a lot about myself and my dog that day.
I’m so happy your dog is okay!
Dogs are dogs. We give them the best life we can but they get restless and do things that don’t make sense to me. Owning a dog is like having a toddler that never grows out of it.
What a dumbass!
I think we have already decided that they aren't a fault.
Be nice and have some empathy
Wonder if they were talking about my dog. If so, I'm inclined to believe she is kinda dumb lol.
I was talking about the dog! Did you think I was talking about you? Haha that would be too rude!
