I got Himeji Castle #21060 as a gift and bought Fountain Garden #10359 as a too me from me gift. Now I have reached the point where I have run out of space to display my sets and have to figure out how to get more shelves on my walls where there is no more space for shelves.

My (41m) parents get me a good sized set, usually I’ll pick out a few and they’ll pick one. This year i got the Ghost and Phantom Star Wars Rebels set. Had to buy a new bookcase to make room on then one I display my sets on. Now if only they wouldn’t get dusty.

I got my kid the D&D set. We're building that together so in a way I got the D&D set for Christmas.

No, and I specifically asked no one give me lego because I still have the modular history museum boxed in my basement that I've yet to build.

having a young cat in the house has made the prospect of building unattractive.

Yup. Got the mini Agrabah palace, 3-in-1 birdhouse, and the Ideas tree house set. The Walmart near my in-laws had a bunch of sets at 40%-50% off, as well, so we indulged a bit there, too. 😛

Wife got me the tuxedo cat set. We have an all black cat and I'm really considering ordering the white pieces in black if it doesn't cost too much.

If they made an orange version of that set id order it right away.

You should be able to replace what you need pretty cheaply on Bricklink

I got two Speed Champion sets, Ferrari F40 and Audi S1 e-tron.

Unfortunately I haven't had the time to build them yet.

My partner and I got 10368, the chrysanthemum.

I got that for my mother and my niece.

Mum had fun building it and has decided to start a collection of the botanicals and replacing her cheap plastic houseplants with them.

I gave away my unopened Lambo (42115) set after staring at my unfinished Bugatti (42083) set that sat for 2+years without progress. Both were covered in dust. I accepted that I might never open the other set.

No, I'm not rich. I just bought 5 sets when I went to legoland on a trip my therapist suggested to get out of a depression slump. The other sets were small and digestible.

I aim to finish that set this year.

I got the LEGO McLaren speed champions F1 set (76919), been a while since I got some Lego!

This looked like it was going to be the first time in 2 decades+ that I got no LEGO, but my daughter had ordered a set for me. It arrives tomorrow or Wednesday.

I'm an enthusiast and did not receive any sets, thankfully. I have way too many sets to display so I'm only buying things I'm really interested in. I have multiple large totes in the garage of new or broken down sets due to a lack of space to display them.

I display my Star Wars sets, but I have two of the Pirates of the Caribbean ships still packed in ziplock nags and sone others. Need to get i to the bin at mynparents and grab my original XWing, Snowspeeder, and Landspeeder sets. Might have more, i dont remember lol

I gifted the kiddo Lego Monkey Palace board game. I've never enjoyed the Lego video games, they feel like such a missed opportunity to encourage creativity through building, but this board game is pretty great. The instructions are a little overwhelming at first but once we got the feel for it everyone had a great time. It's got a spacial puzzle feel to it while everyone collaboratively builds a palace structure and competes to make it taller. The little guy didn't want to tear it down because "it looks so cool" but was very excited for another round.

You might check out the Lego Worlds game. I believe this is the one that's in a style similar to Minecraft and not one of the puzzle type (admittedly my favorites) that most of them are.

I was gifted a Technic Koenigsegg Jesko #42173, pretty excited to get into it!

I'm 36; I don't receive Christmas presents anymore.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 days ago

I received the G500 Professional. It now sits in its own shelf, next to the ACTROS and the ZETROS.

I’ve still got my eyes out for the 8110 UniMOG.

I’m thinking of getting another G300 because it has a lot of pieces that i need for a MOC I have planned.

I got the Darth Vader mech, and two microfighters: the TIE interceptor and the AAT tank.
