I like to pin niche Lego communities to get the ball rolling

All good as far as picking a post goes for your question; it's early days and we all have simple questions we could use answers to!
Great to hear! Hope you all enjoy the place and we can continue enjoying flightsim without skipping a beat after Reddit
Since leaving Reddit definitely more participation. Even started some communities; a thing I never really cared for doing, but seems more appropriate and rewarding here!
Dark grays, blues? Squared? Good. I love simplicity! Not to mention, Reddit started out like that too, and among the older wave of users old.reddit was still a favorite for that reason.
Similar kind of stuff happens all the time, where public institutions bear the cost and consequences of private enterprises. Good example of a not too dissimilar situation was Memorial Hospital during Katrina, where instead of sending private helicopters and rescue, the firm that owned the hospital opted to wait for "free" US government rescue.
Privatize the profits, but socialize the losses.
Oh yes, I love the winter atmosphere in all kinds of media. The fact that we have such a well crafted and experssive game about surviving just that is really nice.
I'm not against the concept of society at all, but the way TLD portrays the absense of it is superb.
Thanks for the deluge of info! Looks like that channel is an amazing source. Wonder how I have missed it for so long.
I try to enjoy the game slowly, but some sense of a personal roadmap to mastering more and more of it is nice to have. I think you helped me a good deal with that, cheers!
Same like many others here. With Spez's frankly infuriating behavior I was determined not to go back, and have only spent time here on Lemmy. No regrets, as I'll take a small growing passionate community over a gigantic dying jaded one. You're all pretty nice company!
Offbrand bricks are just fine. The reason I picked the Lego name is because everyone knows it. So no worries! If you want to make a specific community for offbrand bricks, I'd be glad to pin it!
We'll see. If another Lego community pops up that's fine. I'm not too concerned about a sticky post, more so about making sure these communities get help growing as well.
