I love "The gods themselves". Themes it explores are interesting and sci-fi parts are really clever and unique.
I read that so long ago, it only started coming back as I read the review. It's time for a reread. Thanks for posting.
For a long time it was my favorite book. It had something that captivated me at a level that no other book had before.
Had to drop it when it flipped to the alien universe, just couldn't keep interested.
