A racist letter reportedly circulating through Lincoln County, which has a population of about 50,000 people and is located on the state’s western coast, encourages residents to surveil and report “brown illegals…who you suspect are here in our country on an illegal basis” to the Department of Homeland Security.

"Sit in your church’s parking lot and write down the license plate [number] of brown folks. This is extremely important if you attend a catholic church—many brown folks are catholics!! Shopping, again if you see a bunch of brown folks getting in a car—write down the plate [number]. Schools, as you wait in line to pick up the kiddos or the grandkiddos—if you see brown folks—record the plate [number]. Your neighborhood—you know where the brown folks live in your neighborhood—again record the plate [numbers]. If you see a construction crew and/or a landscaping crew who have brown folks—write down the name of the company and a phone [number].”

Maybe they should make ID's mandatory or even better make people wear some official insignia to display their status, that could help /s

I mean, they kind of do that already.

If you are not a U.S. citizen and an immigration agent requests your immigration papers, you must show them if you have them with you.

In some states, you must provide your name to law enforcement if you are stopped and told to identify yourself. But even if you give your name, you don’t have to answer other questions.

I don't see what's wrong with collaborating with the Gestapo. Her Führer needs all the help he can get.

We have to figure out how to sabotage this kind of stuff. Help your neighbors.

Find their facebook group, find pictures of these idiots, give them a tan in photoshop, start posting WARNING BE ON THE LOOKOUT posters for them with made up middle names / aliases that sound foreign, with a bit of nonsense backstory to go along.

Hell, the people propogating this probably already have criminal records. Just use the real stuff and ... expand upon it.

The way to do it is to depose racists.

Could we thwart efforts like this by flooding the lines with too much data, white people, brown people, black people, olive people. Basically, by the time they sift through all the license plate numbers reported, they'll realize not a single one is real, or more hopefully, be so overwhelmed by the amount of reports that they can't do anything at all. Maybe we can even report fake license plates in there somewhere.

That's all I could come up with too. I think we have to also watch for our own local areas that do this kind of stuff. This is the only one that's come up, I'm sure there are more. I bet they check your addresses and require phone numbers? Hopefully they're as dumb as they usually are.
