I have been a scotch drinker for many years. My cabinet has ranged from 1 bottle to 30. Today, I would like to talk about Toki by Santory Distillery. This wiskey has a flavor profile somewhat like a lightly peated Dalwhinnie. There is a strong whiskey bite on the front end and a tail of vanilla and licorice.

It has become a standard in my cabinet. I have had less success with some of its cheaper Santory brothers, but maybe there is something magical waiting in those pricier bottles...

For relaxing times… make it Santory times

Toki also makes a superb highball. Keep a bottle in the freezer and canned unflavored seltzer in the fridge and it'll come out at the right temperature without ice. I do 2oz Toki to a 12oz can of soda water. It's great with or without a lemon twist.

Why do you call it "Santory", when even in the image you used it is written "Suntory"?
