So I'll get STALKER 2 for Christmas tomorrow. What's going on in the sub? Still people alive here?

Sorry, we are too busy playing the game right now. Update 1.1.3 is pretty good fixed most of the issues (still leaks memory and locks up in Rostok, though) 100% playable… good hunting stalker!

Yes, life in the zone just takes its toll and internet connection is pretty poor, because of all the interference coming from the anomalies...

Happy Christmas, Stalker! (Apparently you have kind people around you that know what a good christmas gift looks like...)

My wife and I knew what we would gift each other. The kids of course wait for the "Weihnachtsmann/ Christkind'.

STALKER 2 is quite good (Xbox), yet I am torn between it and Path of Exile 2. Not enough time...

I’m here. The new patch is pretty good, but I’m really looking forward to further updates down the road. I’ve been torn between waiting for updates and just playing the game.

The game is quite playable right now. I had a few minor quest related bugs, a hand full of sudden performance drops, and regular crashes when handling my stash.

The quest bugs seem to have been fixed a lot in the patches already. The performance drops were solvable with a quick save and load. And the crashes only occured for me when using my stash or a trader inventory, so I could quick save before, and never loose any progress. I never figured out the exact trigger to the crashes, but reloading and trying again always fixed them for me.

The game still needs a lot of polish and bug fixing, but it is certaibly playable.

What he said… My only crashes happen in Rostok while trading or interacting with my stash… no reason or rhyme. I have been limiting my interactions with traders to 30-60 seconds and save in between… no issues. Performance wise, it it much better and I can’t remember the last time I had to save/load to restore performance, seems to be fixes on its own. 5700X/3070-8Gb

Oh I agree it’s playable. I’m eagerly anticipating their content updates

Minor chats here and there.

Hope your serup is good because it is a 120ish gig download and the first start shader rendering can take some time.

Have they fixed A-Life and the spawn length of npcs? Looking forward to jump into stalker again!

They wrote they will improve it on the go. Seems it won't be a one patch issue but multiple.

There are fixes, and a-life offline seems to be doing its own thing in the zone, for good or bad. I just had one instance after patch 1.1.3 where an NPC sneaked up on me from a seemingly impossible place, but much much better than from 1.0.1

G2know, thanks comrade!
