If the insurance company’s job isn’t to negotiate lower costs, what are we paying them for? It would be like a Costco membership where the store was full of overpriced goods.

Fuck IBX. I’m sick of getting surprise bills. Specialist in network? Great! Too bad the lab they use isn’t, or the procedure they want to do isn’t fully covered. The doctor will be sure to not let you know because how they hell should they. If I never see the word coinsurance again it won’t be soon enough
I really doubt the cost of Ozempic and others is more expensive than the health conditions the obese are otherwise prone to. Granted, if you're also denying those treatments, then I guess it doesn't matter...
