What were your Top 3 most played games this year? Here's mine:

Harvestella was a really good surprise for me this year. It felt really unimpressive to me at first, but kept growing on me as I played and I ended up with a quite positive opinion of the game at the end.

N64 is Paper Mario, then Ocarina of Time. Fortnite is just to play with the kid. Echoes of Wisdom was fourth by just one hour, or less than that, depending on how they rounded them. Also, if it had full December, Atelier Ryza should've made the list too.

Finished 23 games this year (for Switch): Completed 18 and dropped 5, so not a bad year. Focus of this year was to clear the oldest game from the backlog, specially RPGs and smaller indie titles. For next year, I am going to focus mainly on Nintendo first party titles (there are many on Switch which I haven't played yet, like Astral Chain, or Tropical Freeze), and catching up to latest game of any series I am playing, like Ys.

Apparently they only take into account up until the 1st of December or something because I've been playing a lot more than what they've given me, most of which in the last two or three weeks.

Yeah, same here. Playing quite a bit in December, but the data is only till November, and since they didn't add last year's December, it probably won't be included in next year's review either.

Indivisible (completed). Enjoyed this one but didn't love it. I liked the animation and a couple of the characters were very memorable, but it went on a bit too long and the backtracking was a little out of control. Got 100% completion, though. 7.5/10

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light (in progress). I'm enjoying it, although it's surprising how little the franchise has evolved on a fundamental level since 1991. It's all gradual evolution, like relationship building outside of battles. You can't even buy/sell/equip weapons for your army outside of battle in this, which is kind of crazy (and makes things much more difficult than they need to be), and it has weapon degradation (which I never enjoy), but the animated character images during dialogue and story are far more advanced than many games of the time.

Shantae (temporarily abandoned). The original. I didn't spend very long with it, but the platforming and hit detection felt very loose. I know the series improves, so I'll likely return to it at some point in the future.

Super Nintendo is mostly The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 🙈

I played 75 games this year on Switch! It's interesting to see the diversity when it comes to most played each month. I started with Mario Wonder, had months with beat 'em ups as most played (Streets of Rage 4, Shredder's Revenge, Double Dragon Gaiden) and others with retro games (Perfect Dark on the Mature N64 being the most played one month).

This end of the year review is pretty cool, but I wish we had stats like we did on the Wii U and 3DS 😥
