Putin and looking weak. Name a more iconic duo.
Surely an act of war, North Korea declare against Ukraine?
Technically they're helping Russia defending against Ukraine. That is something the West has not done, but they didn't put a foot in Ukraine either.
Russia needing help from NK to defend itself is quite the humiliation though.
Pretty sure Russia was the aggressor, so I think you might need to explain to my old ass what you mean by "defending", s'il vous plait
Even pro Ukrainian sources say them being deployed only within Russian borders is technically fine under international law. That doesn't mean that anyone sane is disputing Russia's blame.
My apologies, I didn't understand the full context. Thanks for the clarification!
If it wasn't, then nato countries could put troops in ukraine and then still invoke article 5 if Russia retaliated against them in their country.
Yeah surely someone itching to join in eg Poland can say "if NK doesn't leave by x then we're coming in. Just until NK leaves."
Say something additional like we'll only remain in ukraine, and won't strike from our soil and I bet that'd be nearing acceptable to nato.
If NK declares war though they'd probably have to leave to keep article 5 intact... but you could force the declaration.
I wish for them to be able to surrender. This may be the only way to leave North Korea after all.
