This article is fucking amazing.

"At press time, reports confirmed the British man was put down by veterinarians after he became aggressive around Indian people."

I thought The Onion does satire?

As harsh as it may sound, we must acknowledge that perhaps this British man was not meant for our world

Maybe go a little further back in those notes on what country is responsible for at least 75% of the problems in the modern world...

If you’re actually American and you’re suggesting that it’s Britain - leaving the US less than 25% of blame for everything - that’s a breathtakingly unexpected level of humility. Well done!

I don’t think we can pin the whole Empire on Barry, 63 though.

I'm from the UK. I found this funny, unreservedly. But I honestly really wish Americans would drop the "Cockney" thing and take the piss out of modern British accents instead. We've got a million of them and most of them are comic - let's let Cockney die?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago

it has the word "cock" in it, it's unrealistic to expect people to latch onto anything else

10 years ago, the onion was doing fake satire articles, but by now they became so realistic, it's scary.
