wow, if we could manage to extend even the slightest compassion to living breathing cows, we might be getting somewhere.
Or, you know, even the young children of exploited agri workers, for starters? If we, as a species, can't even muster kindness & compassion for the needy, struggling, and/or defenseless, WTF chance do non-humans have of experiencing similar from us? 🤢
We'd better hold off on showing compassion until we figure out once and for all who needs it most, first. /s
