This episode is by far my favourite, but man does it hit me hard, loosing my intelligence like that is one of my worst fears, plus David Hewlett knocks it out the park.

I watched my father die from grade 4 Glioblastoma ๐Ÿง  cancer over 12 months. Pretty much this episode ๐Ÿฅบ.

I usually skip it because it was so powerful. This one and Heros from OG Stargate.

Also, same. Losing mental faculties, or even control of my body, is my nightmare (sometimes literally, sleep paralysis club member)

Heroes is powerful, but SG1 equivalent to this one is Lifeboat for me - the one where Daniel gets several conciousnesses downloaded into his mind. The way he plays the little kid always has me in tears

Ah i forgot about that one! Adults playing scared little kids always hits me for some reason.

Doctor who had a similar thing; bad guy takes over old woman when she was a girl. Doctor wins, bad guy flees, all that's left is the mind of the little girl bad guy took over.

80ish year old lady, sitting on the floor crying. "I can't find my mother"
