Too bad it was not good
Oh shit, I just checked Letterboxd. The top review says that even the water looks worse? π¬
It was intended to be a Disney+ series originally
I'd rather watch Cars 2
You saw it? Was it that bad?
The story wasn't interesting, none of the new songs resonated, and they had the balls to tease a Moana 3 at the end
kickstarter goes up next week, because somehow it still loses money.
I won't watch it from what others said. I saw despicable me 4 this year and I don't understand how it was released as a movie. It felt like tv episodes mixed together. It sold well too. I feel bad for the kids these days.
At this point I feel illumination makes movies for Facebook karens that think yelling "banana!!" In a minion voice is the most funny shit on the planet.
I don't know anything about the production of that movie, but taking episodes of a canceled TV series and making them into a crappy sequel movie has definitely happened before (see Disney's Atlantis 2, which was literally just the first three episodes of the scrapped TV series squished together into an incoherent hour and a half montage)
