They’ll need to define new sins. They proposed practical ones, with carbon taxes and the like, but the big sinners are far too powerful and well-connected, so it’ll have to be something smaller like mobile games or flavoured coffee.

No the point is to make money and look righteous while doing so.

If they need more taxes to reduce deficits without reducing spending they should look to where wealth is most hoarded and concentrated in society, but it's the economist.
