I'm suspecting something might get added at the end of the last graphic next year πŸ‘€

I loved Donkey Kong Country Returns and Tropical Freeze but oh man some of those bonus levels are brutal. I died so many times on Bopopolis. 100%’d both games, but I do not have the patience to get the 200%. I still need to play through the original though – it’s been a while since I last tried.

Donkey Kong Country is the only Donkey Kong I have actually finished. I made heavy use of save states, but made a rule that I won't them within the levels. So, basically used them as unlimited lives, and boy, did I need those!

Started Donkey Kong Country 2, but it's soo difficult. Want to get back to them sometime though.

Oh dude. Keep going with DK2. If only for the soundtrack.

Some of the levels are just so beautiful.

Yeah, going to give it at least one more try. Let's see how it goes.

Yeah, DKC can be pretty tough! It's also the only one I've played. I've played 2 and maybe 3 a few times but just to try them out. I have the goal to dedicate more time to them some day! And I'm looking forward to the Switch HD remake, I hated the motion controller gimmick on the Wii too much to enjoy it πŸ˜…

How is the difficulty in Donkey Kong Country Returns and Tropical Freeze?

I don't remember if I even finished the first level on DKC Returns. I think I rage quit very early, so I can't say πŸ˜…

Heh, I guess I'll wait for the reviews of DKC Returns HD before getting it.

With Tropical Freeze there are ways to make it easier or harder (e.g. funky Kong in the switch version is invulnerable I believe). However 100% the game is a challenge as there are secret levels and collectible challenges (that you don't need to finish to beat the game).

I played and perfect-cleared DKC & DKC 2, but I never played 3. This is exactly what I want.
