We look forward to your next visit in Big-D and the DFW Metroplex. Please make time for the largest urban forest in the US, the Sixth Floor Museum at the Texas School Book Depository, or see our various humpback whales that live in the Trinity River.

I've heard that Debbie is the best thing to do in Dallas.

Don't vacation in red states.

Further this is the product of our lone star (out of five) educational system I'm sure...

Edit /s may be necessary to modify the toxic cynicism I have towards this state.

Holy shit people. It's a fucking joke. Look at the photo... It's a Google ad algorithm.

There’s a place and time for that type of commentary. Cynicism on this post should be focused the advertiser and algorithms.

What's infuriating, the stock photo of people touching a whale, which I seriously doubt is happening in Dallas?

[–] francisfordpoopola 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Yes. There are no whales in Texas.

[–] Squorlple 5 points 1 week ago

Everything is bigger in Texas. The whales are just so astronomically huge there that you haven’t been able to identify them as whales yet. Keep a lookout for anything a mile and a half in diameter and five miles long that’s making whale noises and alert your nearest Starfleet base.

Republicans have nothing to do with supporting any of the attractions in this ad.
