US military recruitment is so bad they spent ~$10M advertising with the Rock's football league, only to lose recruits AND viewers for the football league.
The national guard spent ~100M on nascar recruiting, which generated 25K recruits. Only 20 of those were qualified (99.92% unqualified). Of those 20, all declined to join.
Reported move would mean loss of 15,000 personnel at a time when the US is struggling to recruit, warn charities

Yeah I really don't get who this is protecting, how it is improving the military in any way, saving any money, or anything else that could pass for an excuse besides just plain old hate.
Trying to purge the military of those likely to defy him, like Hegseth saying women shouldn't serve.

Phalloplasty is so heavy duty that you’d be out of commission for several years anyway. Even with the other option, metadioplasty, (basically, they cut loose the clitoris and sometimes reroute urethra) you’d be out at least 6 months. I doubt they’d allow surgeries until after you served for some amount of time, just hormones.
Sounds like an impossible dream although I do know at least 3 trans people.
