Trump assumes office on January 20th.
America assumes the position on January 20th.

Honestly, I'm surprised this didn't happen four or even eight years ago. They're all grifters and you can pay them to push any message. I wouldn't be surprised if she was being fed money from some ultra leftist group just to cause chaos.

It's not a matter of whether. I think there are enough large States. That's just a math question. You can't get to 270 electoral votes without involving some states that have outsized power relative to their population. And even if they did vote to join the compact, they could always reverse that vote at any time.

This conversation is designed to distract from real solutions that involve some soul-searching in the Democratic party.

There is no pathway to remove the EC that does not include small states voting against their interests and giving up their power.

EC is a non-starter because it is baked in

Is there a decent thread on the facts somewhere? I am still trying to wrap my head around how they connected the subject of the shooting video to the subject of the crime stoppers picture. There are so many diffs it's like a Mad Magazine bit.

David Graeber says that half of all jobs are bullshit and completely unnecessary. I wish we could admit it and move on. Life would be so much more fulfilling if there were only half as much work to do.
