I don't even know what to say about Perez anymore

Out qualified by Zhou in a Sauber, oof. Just retire mate.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

He's not leaving Red Bull and plans to retire there SMH.

That sphere right after he was out was the cherry on top

[–] PaulieDied 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

The car isn’t as good as it used to be, and he ain’t no Max…

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago

The car is clearly not that bad

[–] [email protected] 12 points 2 months ago

Damn Colapinto. Fast but still costing Williams money they don't have

[–] [email protected] 12 points 2 months ago

Wild gasly appears out of nowhere

Logan put Williams in a hole, budget cap wise. Colapinto about to finish the job.

[–] GreenEngineering3475 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)

What did Williams do to deserve this?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I don't see them having 2 cars tomorrow

[–] GreenEngineering3475 8 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It should be muscle memory for Williams mechanics to build a car after every session by now.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

While that might be true, do they have enough parts on hand¿?

[–] GreenEngineering3475 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Crofty kept repeating it on broadcast, that Williams has latest spec spare available.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Ok good to know. F1TV crew don't have this information it seems.

There is also another complication where using new parts may get them included into cost cap calculations and push them over the limit

Damn, I hate this track. We spend more time watching that stupid glowing ball that the race. Stupid concrete walled dangerous track.

Colapinto noooooo

Man I feel for Williams. Don't know how Vowles must be feeling right now.

[–] lazycouchpotato 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

GASLY!!!

Verstappen qualifies ahead of Norris. Championship deciding moment?

Unfortunate Q3 for Hamilton after such good practice sessions.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 months ago (1 children)

How the fuck did gasly do that¿? In none of the sessions did alpine or gasly show that sort of pace

[–] DV8 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Putting it together and best possible track conditions? Verstappen also improved despite not getting a personal best sector 2.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

While this is true, gasly had a pretty big jump and he was far closer to the lead merc than alpine have been throughout the weekend. That was a cracking lap

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

Shows how insanely sensitive this track is in terms of tire temps. Getting them working right is everything here and can put an Alpine 3rd. Amazing qualy by Gasly.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Can anyone explain what Stroll was doing?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Stroll's car had a problem with the ECU at the end of FP3. By the time they fixed the car, only around 3 minutes were left in quali. Considering that he got just one run without much time to prepare his tyres, I am impressed that he was only 2 tenths away from alonso

[–] wes 2 points 2 months ago

Perez 🤷‍♂️

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago

Kinda feel for Lewis, for once the team don't fuck his setup after a good practice and he mades a mistake in Q3.
