Following Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 presidential election, Democrats’ pessimism about their party’s future is now higher than at any point over the last eight years.

In a two "party" system the dems are supposedly the progressive party. So it's "dispiriting" when they run on an overtly right-wing, pro-genocide, liberal platform. It's like the whole system was invented by slaver masters to preserve their disgusting privilege.

Some people need pain to learn.

They should be pessimistic, they ran on a right wing platform to compete with the other right wing platform.

The people don't want a phony Democrat. If it's a choice between a genuine Republican, and a Republican in Democratic clothing, the people will choose the genuine article, every time.

If the democrats don't run on Universal Health care in 2028 they will lose.

If the democrats don't run on justice system reform in 2028 they will lose.

If the democrats don't run on redistribution of wealth in 2028 they will lose.

If the democrats don't run on radical climate change and pollution mitigation in 2028 they will lose.

If the democrats don't run on ending the genicide in 2028 they will lose.

If the democrats don't run on passing a federal abortion and contraception as a right in 2028 they will lose.

Run? Run where? It's cute that you think we will ever have fair elections again.

If there is a election, the dems only chance to win is to run as far left as possible. Being the lessor of two evils brought us here and only far left policies will bring us back to being a true nation of unified people.

After being kicked in the balls, most men are concerned about the pain in their testicles.
