I just found out today that a server I've been posting to completely blocks all NSFW servers, which I'm on. If I'd known this I would not have wasted my time posting to it! My question is how can I easily tell if a server has blocked my server?

Go to the instance main site via web browser (ex: lemmy.world). Don't need to sign in. Scroll to the very bottom of the page. You should see Instance under the UI and Lemmy version. Click on that. It will show you what that instance is federated with and if you scroll to the bottom you can see the ones that are defederated. To easily find your instance do the "find" option in your browser to search directly.

Thank you for your help. I hope a feature is added when you're logged in that clearly says something along the lines of "this instance has blocked your instance and your posts will not be seen". Having to navigate to another website and search to find this information cannot be the best way of doing it!

Only by going to that instance, tapping instances at the bottom, and then scrolling all the way to the bottom of that page.
