That's artist Francisco Goya, not the Goya that makes fascist frijoles.

[–] Decoy321 12 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Wait, what's this about fascist frijoles?

[–] TRBoom 13 points 2 years ago (2 children)

The only thing I can think of was that the owner or CEO of Goya was super into Trump.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Correct. And he used his daughter as a spokeswoman for the beans.

(Why would a Mexican be pro-Trump? It would be like a fish in favor of being filleted and battered.)

Some Latines feel closer to the whiteness/machismo (read: misogyny) of American conservatism than they do their own marginalized (from an American perspective) ethnicity.

Ah, I remember that nonsense now! Thanks for the reminder.

I'll stick with Conchita and Badia for beans and sazon completo.

Me. Photoshop of "Saturn devouring his son", by Francisco de Goya.

I made it in 2022 for Twitter. After that I abandoned my account. With the recent "X" news, I thought it will be fine to use it again after correcting the colours and adding a few filters, because the original was very dark and saturated.
