I'll be the one to say it. AI is making code worse, and products are getting worse. (As a result of not just AI, but it's not like AI isn't a huge contributor to enshittification.)

AI just let's script kiddies churn out garbage faster. I've yet to see better code as a result.

AI let's someone code faster and understand new libraries and concepts quickly. It doesn't make code and products "better".

It might bring down costs eventually but all the savings brought on will probably getting funneled up by the CEOs.

We might see a more diverse amount of products, since smaller teams can do more. It will let indie gaming studios punch higher for instance.
