Honestly, at tier 4 the resident party wizard has enough reality-shaping abilities that I find it quite difficult to follow a pre-written adventure without them nuking the entire content and forcing me to improvise.

And considering how badly written most of 5e's campaigns are, I don't think this will solve the issue at all.

I'd honestly like to see WOTC acknowledge that levels 10+ or maybe 15+ are not actually playable and refocus their design efforts on lower levels.

I'd rather them rebalance their game.

That's what I hoped for OneDnD, but after the last playtest, I think it's safe to assume it won't change anything because it would take too much time and effort.

I'm just looking forward to what Daggerheart has to offer at this point.

I see, thank you for the link.

It seems to me it's a pvp focused game, which is not really my thing. Having fun as a party is the main reason I play DnD to begin with. Too much stress already, I like sitting and playing a chill adventure with my friends instead of competing against them.

It's not. It's a RPG system, just like Pathfinder or DnD.

Sorry, i read the link while half asleep. The article itself is only a few lines long, and then it diverts to "Other Darrington Press games" and I didn't notice it while reading.

I'll check it out when it releases, although the problem with other systems is always the same - my group already knows dnd and doesn't want to learn a new game. I bought some pathfinder books a few months ago and I've never had the chance to use them.

A level 1-10 adventure with a 'bump to lvl 17'? What does that mean? Instantly levelling from 10 to 17, skipping an entire tier? That just sounds silly.

I love epic level campaigns. I love dealing with all the super powerful game breaking magics and abilities. I usually set them in the astral plane, the hells, or more recently, space. I started reading about it's version of space a few months ago and I love everything about it. Space in D&D is fucking gnarly. Like, even the gods of Toril and other planes are afraid of space.
