Russia says its forces have recaptured 10 settlements after it launched a counteroffensive in the Kursk region to push out Ukrainian troops who stormed across the border five weeks ago.

With fierce fighting continuing, Russia’s defence ministry listed the names of 10 settlements it said it had retaken, in a significant blow to Kyiv. Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, acknowledged a Russian counteroffensive had begun.

It follows Ukraine’s surprise cross-border attack last month into western Russia. Zelenskiy said his armed forces had anticipated Russia’s assault this week and the operation was still going to plan.

I’m hoping the US green lighting strikes within Russia today can help blunt this. Not looking good for Ukraine lately, it’s a real bummer. Still, at least it’s not Ukrainian territory getting shredded for a change.

Long long range

The US won’t allow Ukraine to defend itself, but will allow, arm, and fund Israel’s genocide?

How fucking shameful.

Well, it's not like Israel is actually Ukraine in this comparison, despite what the Zionist Kool-aid would have you think, so maybe we can take comfort in that the US is only abetting one instead of both?

...Yeah, no, I didn't think so either.

What? Nobody is saying they’re analogous. Israel is behaving a hell of a lot more like Russia in the context of the Gaza Genocide. Don’t muddy the waters.

We should be aiding and abetting Ukraine. They’re the good guys here. It’s the right thing to do, and the geopolitical implications of them winning are far more unequivocally positive.

I thought that was clear in my statement, but obviously not, so my apologies for the confusion.

Eh, my bad. I misinterpreted the gist of your comment. No worries, mate.

War is profitable.

No matter what happens, Isreal will keep arming itself with the newest new. If either side wins in Ukraine, it kills a good 'milk cow'.

Thanks for the good news Russia, y’all are… something
