Star Wars (movies) are for children/young adults. Its a fun simple sci-fi fantasy. There's nothing wrong with that.

Simple being the word. There is very little depth to the universe hence why they're trying to expand it now

There was a ton of depth to it until they decided there wasn't.

It wasn't always good, and some of it was downright awful, but it's not like it was just a few movies and a TV show.

There is very little to the universe. Its a good vs bad story. There is no shade of gray and that is what makes things interesting.

It's fun and all but not an IP you can do a lot with without expanding greatly.

Don't forget the part where a guy becomes the flash. Only, instead of lightning and lab chemicals, it's more of a "jumper cables on your wang" kind of thing.
