Obama had his YouTube popularity in 08', and Trump arguably won (with assistance) the internet strategy in 2016 vs Clinton.

What technological "channel" might propel the next US president to the finish line?

Realistically. All of them.

It doesn't take that much effort to hire a team of a couple dozen folks to disseminate information on every major platform, tailored for each one. Longer form YouTube, short form TikTok, quick, current and topical info and responses on Xitter, community building on MetaBook, thirst traps on Tumblr.

I think TikTok-like media: short clips that are easily consumed by end users. People are too inundated with information, so something quick and easy to process would receive more attention and give the impression of being considerate of people's mental energy. I think most people don't want to hear a long drawn out speech unless they are interested in the specific topic and are ready to do so in the moment. So, having these quick clips would help promote the general topics, while people can look onto the ideas that matter to them if they choose to.
