all of the above. in fact, unless she can be a queer icon meme queen, she might not be able to also pull off winning. I hope trump loses though.

i no longer care about supporting "the lesser of two evils"

my sole motivation is PUNISHING the greater of two evils.

I don't really care how we do it, as long as the GOP dies.

Eh, the GOP serves a useful purpose as it is. When you get the assholes that are far right, fascist, and racist all in one party, you don't have to play whacamole.

There's always going to be a right wing of some kind. Not any way around that, which doesn't require becoming fascist thought police on a massive scale. And, you know, fuck that noise. So might as well keep the party as a convenient trashcan.

The goal is to minimize the ability of that kind of thinking to cause problems. That does require exactly what you said, making the cost of fascism so high via punishment that it stays under control rather than running rampant the way it's trying to.

there will always be a right wing of some kind. But you can't just let it fester, free of consequences. The honey pot needs to be changed every so often.

IF we get rid of the GOP, the first past the post electoral model guarantees that the democrat party will then proceed to split, because FPTP always pushes toward an equilibrium of two factions.

It WILL indeed be a progressive/conservative split again, but the conservativism will necessarily have to draw down its virulence to survive.

this will also enable us to finally bring consequences down upon the bluedog scum that prevented any good work from getting done even when there had been democratic majorities.

Why not all three

Wait is she a queer icon? Like I’m still miffed about her refusing to say that trans people in prison deserve the right to gender affirming care after she fought to deny it as an attorney general.

Like I’m still voting for her and generally am happy to do so, but I know I’m the first under the bus for her.

Yeah isn't that life as a trans person.
