reporting that the directors of the last avengers movies will be directing the next avengers movies is probably the least shocking thing they could have reported.

I think it's still news (maybe not shocking) because after Endgame they said they'd never do another one of these (due to the toll it took on them). Which I felt really sad about because I thought they were amazing with Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame.

It’s wild to go back and watch Community and notice the techniques and styles they honed there and later applied to make probably 3/5 best MCU movies

I loved going back and seeing it, because it's done in like a tongue-in-cheek way sometimes and it's done seriously for the MCU. It was like perfect practice on Community.

Then you have the Harmon jabs on them (the MCU movies) in like the finale episode, lol

Also what's fun is seeing the Community cast show up to their MCU movies.

winter soldier was such a surprise. when i watched it i hadnt heard anything about it so i was a little shocked at how good it was

I can't say I enjoyed the first one (Captain America), like it wasn't bad but it was pretty bleh to me. I also didn't have an expectation of MCU movies being any good. Avengers was good but I thought that was lightning in a bottle. Winter Soldier completely surprised me, I love it.

Good, they should be good movies then.

They made a ridiculously expensive Amazon show that turned out kinda shitty. I’m sure they’re happy to change their tune and get back to the slam-dunk shit they know well.
