Democracy without the democracy of debate ahead of candidate selection. So cool!
A party nominating their candidate before the state deadlines to appear on the ballot is not authoritarian, its making sure their candidate appears on the ballots for the election.
Republicans would otherwise block any Democrat from appearing on the presidential ballot in Ohio.
That’s horse shit the Ohio legislature changed it specifically so the dnc would stop throwing them under the bus
The repubs put a poison pill in to stop outside issue campaigns. Which in most cases would be a good thing, but in Ohio's case, it's designed to kill the Democrats early campaigns in Ohio.
