"Incorrect response. Please refresh the page."

I have attempted 10 captchas in a row, but to no avail. Each time, the response is marked as incorrect. The login issue is only part of the problem. When I try to redeem a freebie on my account, I encounter the same captcha issue. This persists regardless of whether I am using a VPN or not. It's becoming extremely frustrating.

Nice try, bot. You're not getting me to explain what a traffic light is!

It's becoming extremely frustrating.

Yup. That'll happen when you touch anything related to epic.

Is it one of those click all pictures that contains a buss/bicycle ones. Because I have noticed that some of them after you have clicked all the relevant pictures will give you more pictures to click but there sometimes is a significant wait before the pictures refresh into the new ones, with no indication that there will be more pictures and if you press compleat before the new pictures load it will fail you.

You likely have a web browser issue. What are you using?

I'm guessing it's one of those that blocks basically everything. Those configurations usually trip bot detection, and break captchas.

Sometimes it's not so dramatic. I had one throwing a forever captcha and figured out it was because I set webp to disabled in about:config

Are you completing them quickly and correctly? If you are, that might be the issue.

Try making mistakes and then undoing them, as if you mis-clicked.

Try using their website instead of launcher

Are you trying to redeem the freebie through the Epic Games launcher? I don't remember ever having to complete a captcha that way.

What browser are you using? Some browser features have caused issues like this for me in the past. Specifically privacy-focused browsers like LibreWolf and Vanadium.
